You can buy a market-rate home in San Francisco with help from the Downpayment Assistance Loan Program (DALP)!

Through the Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), DALP provides up to $500,000 to first-time homebuyers.

The deadline for submitting your application is 5:00 PM PST, July 14, 2023

The 2023 DALP cycle will distribute $17.9 million to assist at least 35 households. DALP provides up to $500,000 in down payment assistance to low- to middle-income first-time homebuyers earning up to 200% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for the purchase of a market-rate primary residence in San Francisco.

No monthly payments are required! The funds are available to:

General public households
Educators employed with the San Francisco Unified School District
First responders (active, uniformed members of the Fire, Police, or Sheriff’s Departments)
